It seems you have successfully finished your move now. Are you happy with the results? I know how much time and effort you have invested in the past in helping me understand autism. I appreciate the posts and books you recommended, I am so sorry all your work was lost last month.

Hi Lynn, Yes the move had gone quite well,there are a few things to be changed but they are mainly on the admin side.

It was a great shame to lose so much data and some of our new members too but none of it can be recovered now so we have to move on and start again.

New beginnings can be quite traumatic but the positive thing is so many people have wanted to see the forum up and running again and new ideas and suggestions have come forward so there will be a change in direction for us too.

The original plan was to cater for carers and parents of people with autism in its all its forms, but it appears there is also a need for those on the spectrum themselves to have a place where they can meet, have a sense of community, and keep in touch .

So the forum will be catering for these needs in future if that is what is wanted by people.
